Craniosynostosis Repair

Craniosynostosis Repair

This illustration shows the efficient removal of a fused sagittal suture section though a small incision. Removal of prematurely ossified sagittal suture in the infant’s skull will allow proper room for brain development. This craniosynostosis repair procedure (endoscopic strip craniectomy) is less invasive and traumatic than traditional craniectomy that involves cutting across the baby’s scalp from ear to ear.
